About me

Hey, I’m Nishi. It's so nice to meet you!

I am the creator of The Bridge to New I write here on varied topics like books, writing, learning, freelancing, and anything related and in between.

I have found that self-publishing is a great way to earn some royalties from amazon, therefore, I made a pen name but the problem was that I am not an author. Thanks to Upwork I outsource my work with top ghostwriters and my friend edits the book of course not for free and then I proofread it I get the cover designed simultaneously outsource the book cover from Fiverr and publish it on Amazon. If you want to learn more about this read my posts.

I also want to learn book editing specifically line editing. Why?

1. To develop my vocab like a next level sort of.

2. I am a blogger therefore I need to have knowledge about editing so that I don't recommend unpolished work.

3. It would help me to save a few bucks *wink*

I have found an incredible post written by Jami Gold. If you too want to learn line editing check out her post.

I know the pain of Indie Authors writing books, managing social media, book promotions. The last one has many branches. I myself have experienced this though I am not a writer I do need to promote my books that are ghostwritten. So I learned a lot of tips and techniques for book promotion and still learning.

Feel free to use my contact form below for any author interviews or guest post requests. Please look over my Review Policy before making a book review request.

What is Bridge to New?

The name Bookish Energy came all of a sudden to my mind. I thought I read books and review them why not start a blog with helping authors with some exposure and help them with some tips.

I mostly read fiction and less poetry and non-fiction. It doesn't mean I do not at all read them but I am choosy when it comes to reading poetry and non-fiction.

My posts are about books, book reviews, author promotion, book editing, graphic design, and everything related in between.

Why did I change my Blog Name from Bookish Energy to Bridge to New?

Many of you don't know that previously my blog name was Bookish Energy but then I changed it to Bridge to New and the reason why I did this was that I was exhausted. Yes, I realized that I was being too harsh on myself to achieve the target of publishing certain posts on my blog.

Being a student who needs to study coding for hours and on top of that reading books so that I can review them was getting out of my control and one day I found a blog by Haylie creator of Morning Buzz Blog it was a live saver and from there I decided that I need to adopt some major changes for my blog and so I did.

I just want to say that this was the case with me it is not a compulsion that you to do the same thing with your blog from example Leslie creator of She Reads Romance Books from the name itself it's clear that her blog is all about romance books in the case Leslie's niche in specific under books she prefers romance books and I often visit her site to see trending books in the romance genre.

You can see my previous posts in that the Pinterest images you can see there it is written "Bookish Energy" instead of "Bridge to New" proof that previously my site name was "Bookish Energy"
